Your Lake of the Woods Improvement Association’s Board of Directors (BOD) met today, Saturday, September 5th 2020. It was decided, unanimously, by your BOD to cancel our annual member meeting and picnic that was originally scheduled in July and then rescheduled to Sept 19th. This decision was based on the current and ongoing Covid 19 situation. Had this annual meeting taken place, there would have been some board elections, however during our BOD meeting today, a motion was made and carried to cancel the picnic, member meeting and each officer completing their term this year has graciously accepted the responsibility to continue in their current position until next year’s election in July, 2021. We are confident and hopeful that all members accept and understand the decisions we made today, and that in July 2021 we will have a membership meeting/picnic. We will keep you informed via email and our website as to any happenings. There will be another BOD meeting in January 2021. Everyone, please be safe .
